Bluebone's NEW CD !!  "Radio"
Their best yet ! You'd better have your dancin' shoes on when you open this one !!

"Radio"
Jay Bethel of Bluebone:   "We had a lot of changes that year. Our original drummer, Andy Vernon, moved on. We ended up with 'drummer by committee' for awhile, which was interesting, but a little unnerving. We finally convinced Frank Araneo to step in and take over, and man did he get busy! Real nice work.

In the fall Steve "the Pancake" Smith moved on, but left us with some really super perfomances on this CD. Van Burriss, our new bass player, stepped right in and became the big-block HEMI motor that drives a lot of the songs and he's really makin' the band go, go, GO!

This CD is not all blues. We love the blues, but we're not a bunch of "One Trick Ponies" and frankly, this is our art. Record labels are interested in a particular sound and don't want any variation from what they want. So we make our own CDs- we make our own music, and we love doing it. Record labels aren't interested in a band that consists of old guys, anyway.

There's something on here for everyone, but as far as we're concerned, ALL of it is for everyone. We've worked as hard on our STUDIO music as we work in live performance, and you know how hard THAT is. We hope you love our music like we do, but if you don't, it's ok to have no class, taste, or style....you're still a nice person.

Bluebone is Back
with our best CD EVER!!!! "
